WHY ARE WE HERE?

Are you here, just for playing softball, or for teaching young ladies ages 4 1/2 to 16 years old to grow as individuals? Are you here to give them an opportunity to learn the importance of teamwork, which will come into play over and over again in their lives? Are you here to give them an opportunity to learn leadership skills? Are you here to give them an opportunity to meet new people, experience new places and learn more about the world?

Tracy Express Fastpitch Softball feels the answer is YES! to all of the above questions. We, the board of directors, feel that your sacrifices, your countless hours of practicing, your patience, your support, your shoulders to cry on when defeat happens, and your arms to leap into when victory is achieved, teaches these young ladies what life is really all about. Most importantly, you are teaching them about love.

Whether they go on to excel in sports or take a more academic road; whether they go into business or become homemakers; whether they coach their own kids someday or become spectators; this we know for sure...They will ALWAYS remember you! Because you didn't just TALK about believing in the youth of today and supporting kids activities, you PROVED it by being a POSITIVE part of their lives.

THAT'S why you are here.

THAT'S what you have already accomplished before the first pitch is even thrown.

So coaches and managers, the thing you need to keep asking yourself is not, "are they ready". The thing you need to ask is "are they interested?" Because if you've done your job of keeping them interested, we guarantee you, they are ready!
